How can I earn more Poynts?

You will see 2 starter plans when you sign into your account.

  • Your Let’s Get Started plan includes easy ways you can learn more about Carepoynt and earn more Poynts! 

  • Your St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare plan features an option to earn 100 Poynts for watching a video about colorectal cancer screening.

Click on the Earn tab when you are signed in to view additional ways to earn for online purchases and even locally by visiting one of our local Orange County partners.

Can I earn and redeem Poynts locally in Orange County?

Absolutely! There are many local Orange County partners within the Carepoynt Community. Sign in to find local businesses where you can earn and redeem CarePoynts including doctors, spas, gyms, and more!

Is colorectal cancer screening covered by insurance?

Contact your health insurance company for information regarding your plan coverage by calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card.

What if I've already been screened for Colon Cancer?

If you have completed a colorectal cancer screening in the current 2018 calendar year, then you do not need to complete this screening. Likewise, if you have had a colonscopy within the past 10 years, then you only need to complete an annual screening at your physician’s recommendation.

If you do not need to complete a colorectal cancer screening at this time, then St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare commends you on already taking preventive measures and would like to award you with 800 bonus Poynts for creating an account and an additional 1,600 bonus Poynts when proof of prior screening has been received. Start by clicking here. Select the “I’ve already been screened” option to provide additional information.

If you have not completed a colorectal cancer screening in the current 2018 calendar year, then St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare will award you 800 bonus Poynts for requesitng a kit in the mail and an additional 1,600 bonus Poynts when you complete and return the screening kit. Start by clicking here and selecting “I’ve already been screened”.

Why are you providing me with rewards for completing a healthcare screening?

Annual preventive cancer screenings are important, but are often overlooked. Did you know that colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in the United States and has a nearly 90% survival rate with early detection? St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare believes your health and wellness matters and rewards you for being proactive when it comes to your health and wellness.

How and when will I receive the results of my colorectal cancer screening kit?

The results of your colorectal cancer screening will be sent to your Primary Care Physician within 2-4 weeks of returning your completed kit to Quest Diagnostics. Please contact your Primary Care Physician for your results.

I submitted my request. What do I need to do next and when will I receive my 1,600 Poynts?

If you requested a screening kit…

  • You will receive an envelope in the mail from Quest Diagnostics within 2-4 weeks which will contain your kit, instructions, and the yellow return envelope.

  • Follow the kit instructions to complete and return the kit using the yellow envelope provided.

  • Your 1,600 bonus Poynts will be awarded within 2-4 weeks of returning your kit.

If you have already been screened … 1,600 Poynts will be awarded to you when your records are received and eligibility is confirmed using the information you provided.

I haven't received my screening kit in the mail.

You should receive an envelope in the mail from Quest Diagnostics with your screening kit within 2-4 weeks of your request submission.

If you haven’t received your screening kit after 4 weeks, request a new one be sent to you by clicking here.

I returned my completed screening kit, but haven't received my 1,600 Poynts.

Your 1,600 bonus Poynts will be awarded within 2-4 weeks of returning your completed kit to Quest Diagnostics. If you have not received your 1,600 bonus Poynts after 4 weeks, submit an inquiry to Carepoynt by clicking here.

I requested my medical records be released, but I haven't received my 1,600 Poynts.

Your 1,600 bonus Poynts will be awarded when your medical records have been received from your physician which should be within 2-4 weeks of joyning Carepoynt and authorizing the release of this information.

How will I know my Poynts have been awarded?

  1. You will receive a text message on your mobile phone to notify you when Poynts have been issued.

  2. Sign into your account. Your current Poynts balance is in the upper right hand corner. You will have approximately 3,000 Poynts after your 1,600 Poynt bonus has been awarded. This may vary depending on whether you have earned additional Poynts and/or have already redeemed Poynts.

  3. To view your Poynts history follow the directions below. For a guided walkthrough, click here.

How do I redeem for my $25 reward?

  1. Log into your account

    1. Browser: Go to our website https://app.carepoynt.com/login

    2. Mobile App: Home screen

  2. Click the Redeem tab

  3. Scroll down

  4. Click Show More

  5. Make your selection

  6. Click Redeem Now button

  7. Click Yes to redeem

  8. Your gift card will be digitally delivered to your email

  9. Follow the directions in the email to redeem your gift card in-store or online.

Do I need to wait until I have 3,000 Poynts to redeem for a reward?

No! You may redeem your Poynts for a gift card under $25, or even a reward other than a gift card, as long as you have earned enough Poynts to redeem.

  • Medical Record Request - Your 1,600 bonus Poynts will be awarded to anyone who completes an annual screening -OR- when records are received confirming that either an annual screening has already been completed for the current 2018 calendar year or a colonoscopy has been performed within the past 10 years.

How will the information I provide be used?

The information provided will  be used to create your Carepoynt rewards account and to provide St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare with the necessary information to fulfill your request and award your bonus Poynts.

Carepoynt respects your privacy and will not provide your information to third party organizations without your consent. Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service may provide additional clarification.

Please ensure that you have:

  1. Selected an option at the top of form

  2. Completed the form. All fields, with the exception of ‘Apt’ in the address, must be provided.

  3. Verify your field entries are valid

    • Mobile Phone Number must be 10 digits

    • Date of birth must be in MM/DD/YYYY format

    • Your password must be 8 or more characters and must include a letter and a number

    • Zip code must be 5 digits

  4. Read and accepted the Terms of Service (check the box)

I am unable to redeem my Poynts for a gift card.

Have you verified your account? You received an email from connect@carepoynt.com when you created your account.

Search your emails from ‘connect@carepoynt.com’ or for the subject line ‘Carepoynt: Action Required’ and click the blue ‘Confirm Your Account’ button. You will be prompted to confirm over text message, as well. 

Do you have enough Poynts for the gift card option that you are attempting to redeem for? Your Poynts balance is in the upper right hand corner of your screen.

I redeemed for a gift card, but cannot find it.
